old news:

20071128 last week, henning lundkvist's hörspiel/ audio-work "mout ootw" was published by radiowy. the work is a sound adaptation of the text (also by lundkvist) with the same name, the text was read by joel odebrant and it is in swedish. you can read the "mout ootw" text (there is also an english version) in the "works" section at inaktiv.net, and you can download the mp3-file at radiowy.se. radiowy is a new initiative by playwrighters and theatre directors christina ouzounidis and jörgen dahlqvist (both from teatr weimar, malmö), poet and playwrighter hanna nordenhök and henning lundkvist, which will publich radio dramas and hörspiels on the internet on a monthly basis. the first two works published were "mout ootw" and hanna nordenhök's "havet".

20071107 finally, after months and months of delays, the CD with henning lundvist's work "the end of a system of things" will be released on november 17th. the release will be celebrated with a nice release party and presentation at galleri ping pong, malmö. the ping pong door will open at 20.00, and henning will present a version of his new work in progress, "apollo the bringer of plague - the earth dies screaming", at 20.30.

20071101 as mentioned earlier, henning lundkvist will present the first sketches of his new audio-visual work "apollo the bringer of plague - the earth dies screaming", as well as screen the film-version of his work "the end of a system of things" at "model arts & niland gallery", sligo, ireland. what wasnt mentioned was that (a) the presentations are a part of nina canell and robin waktins fellowship at "the model", and thus takes place in "the studio", and that (b) the date for the presentations is not 1st of november, as was mentioned before, but the 2nd of november, i.e. tomorrow, friday.

20071024 stage-adaptation of helena erikssons book "strata", in which henning lundkvist is responsible for the soundwork, will have its premiere at teatr weimar tonight at 19.30. it will also be played tomorrow at the same time. the play is directed by christina ouzounidis, the text is adapted for stage by christina ouzounidis and hanna nordenhök, and johan bergman is responsible for the stage and light. more dates, later this winter, will be announced shortly.

20071017 the film-version of henning lundkvist's "the end of a system of things" will be screened in the "transvizualia" festival in gdynia (gdansk), poland. the screening takes place at 17.00 in the "film klub" cinema, gdynia, on october the 21st.

20071012 a new work was added under the "works"/"2007" folder. it is a work with the working-title "apollo the bringer of plague - the earth dies screaming". some working material, sketches, trailers and other files related to the work will be posted on http://www.youtube.com/inaktiv. the work is the "new, yet untitled work" which was referred to in the last news-post, and will thus have it's premiere at "model arts & niland gallery", sligo, ireland, on november 1st.

20071008 henning lundkvist will present some of his work at "model arts & niland gallery" in sligo, on the irish west coast, on november 1st. the film-version of "the end of a system of things" will be screened, and the first, sketchy version of a new, yet untitled work by henning lundkvist, will be performed. more info on this new project/work will come soon.

20070923 the CD+booklet version of "the end of a system of things" just gets more and more delayed, since the pressing plant decided to be a pain in the ass, refusing to ship the booklets since we don't own the copyright to the images in it. hopefully, this whole problem will be solved soon. in the meantime, a 3 minute extract of the film-version of the work is now available for download on inaktiv.net, in the "works"/"2007"/"the_end_of_a_system_of_things_2006-2007" folder.

20070915 yesteday, henning lundkvist moved most of his belongings to berlin, and will mostly be living there from now on.

20070820 two events in gothenburg;
- the presentation of "staubsauger des willens" at "vändersigom", gothenburg, wich was originally scheduled for august 18th, will instead take place on september 7th. at the same event, the poet pär darell will read from his book "degussa skincare". "vändersigom" is located on andra långgatan 22.
- the filmwork "the end of a system of things" will be presented at "salongen", gothenburg, on september 5th. apart from the screening of "the end...", the films "bonjour enfance", by the collective "sharks", as well as "platser : 4", by photographer and film-maker pontus johansson will be screened. the night goes under the title "filmsalongen", the venue is located on arsenalsgatan 8 in kungshöjd, gothenburg.
- both events begin at 19.00, and both events have no entrance fee.

20070812 back from switzerland, some news is to be delivered - i.e. things are delayed:
- the release of the CD+booklet version of "the end of a system of things" is slightly delayed. at the moment no exact date for its release is set, but expect a few more weeks or so.
- the edition was scheduled to be released at galleri signal, malmö, om august 31st. now, that date has been changed to august 30th, and altough the CD+booklet will probably not have arrived from the pressing plant until that date, there will still be a nice evening with a screening and discussion of the work.
- the date for the presentation at the bookshop "vänder sig om,", gothenburg, is also changed. instead of taking place on the saturday of august 18th, it will take place in early september. the exact date and time is to be confirmed soon.

20070719 henning lundkvist will perform the "staubsauger des willens" at the bookshop "vänder sig om,", gothenburg, on the saturday of august 18th, i.e. the day before it will be performed at ordtältet, malmöfestivalen, malmö. the presentation will take place at 19.00, the entrance is free (I haven't heard of entrance to stores... yet), and if you arrive you will probably have a glass of wine or two.

20070718 the "official" release of henning lundkvist's "the end of a system of things" (with the unofficial release being the sneak-sale of the edition at plug.in, basel, on the 4th of  august), released  as a CD and booklet on komplott in august, will be held at galleri signal, malmö, on august 31st. the evening will feature a screening of the film-version of "the end...", as well as some nice, old school, artsy gallery socializing.

20070714 henning lundkvist will once again collaborate with the dramatist and director christina ouzounidis, this time with the theatre adaptition of helena eriksson's book of poetry "strata". again, the adaptation will be played at malmö's teatr weimar. apart from henning and christina, the poet and dramatist hanna nordenhök is also participating in the production. the production is the first part of a series called "choreopoesi" ("choreopoetry"), a series of productions initiated by christina ouzounidis, and with focus on the intersections of theatre, poetry, and sound art. the premiere is scheduled to october or november 2007.

20070626 the CD + booklet version of henning lundkvist's "the end of a system of things" will be sent to the pressing plant later this week, and a sneak-release of it will take place at "die lange sommernacht zum ende der welt" on august 4th, i.e. at the presentation of "the end of a system of things", followed by the screening of the feature films "the omega man" and "the world, the flesh, and the devil" (both films carefully handpicked by the artist himself) at [plug.in], basel switzerland. a somewhat more "official" release of the CD will take place in malmö, sweden, later during august. it will be released by the malmö-based label komplott (www.komplott.com).

20070619 henning lundkvist will present his "staubsauger des willens" at "ordtältet", malmöfestivalen, malmö, on the 19th of august 2007. the work has been presented once before, in august 2006, but although the central theme of it is still the same, it will be somewhat rearranged for this occasion.

20070618 henning lundkvist will present his "the end of a system of things", a film-work focusing on (the representations of) the apocalypse, at [plug.in] in basel, switzerland, on the 4th of august 2007. the presentation will be followed by the screening of a couple of films on the same theme, films choosed by the artist together with the plug.in crew.
